The Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) 

The Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) is a direct management institution subordinated to the Minister of Finance. The Minister of Finance exercises subordination of the institution via the Ministry of Finance. 

The basic work of the agency is the management of foreign investments for Latvia's growth, and within this framework, the basic principles of the agency's work are the approach of the "consult first" principle, reliability, efficiency and zero tolerance for fraud and corruption.

State Revenue Service (SRS)

In accordance with the Law on State Revenue Service, the State Revenue Service (hereinafter – “the SRS”) is a direct administrative authority under the supervision of the Minister of Finance, which ensures the accounting of tax payments and taxpayers; the collection of taxes, duties and other mandatory payments specified by the State in the territory of the Republic of Latvia; collects taxes, duties and other mandatory payments into the budget of the European Union; and implements the customs policy and organizes customs matters. Customer service centers of the SRS tax administration (KAC) are located in the following cities of the Latgale region - Balvi, Daugavpils, Krāslava, Ludza, Preiļi and Rēzekne.

The Latgale Customs Control Points (MKP) section of the SRS Customs Administration is located in Daugavpils and is responsible for the operation of 11 MKPs in the Latgale region. More information can be found here.

SEA branches are located in the following cities of the Latgale region - Balvi (reception times also in Baltinava, Tilža and Viļaka), Daugavpils (reception times also in Ilūkste), Krāslava (reception times also in Dagda), Ludza (reception times also in Kārsava and Zilupe), Preiļi (reception times also in Livāni), Rēzekne (admission times also in Viļāni and Malta).

Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia

The Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia is a legal person that acts under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice and its activity is regulated by the law on The Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, the Regulations of the Register of Enterprises approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and other regulative enactments.

The Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia registers companies, traders, their branches and representative offices and changes in their founding documents, and carries out other activities provided for in legislation. The Register of Enterprises also registers mass media, associations and foundations, commercial pledges, controlling interests, public-private partnership agreements and matrimonial property agreements, political parties, arbitration bodies, trade unions, religious organisations and religious institutions, and insolvency proceedings.

Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)

Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is the biggest association of entrepreneurs in Latvia uniting 6000 members – micro, small, medium and large enterprises of all regions and industries, associations, city business clubs and other unions of entrepreneurs. Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is founded on 21 December 1934 and is a member of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). LCCI has two divisions in the Latgale region - Northern Latgale division (Rēzekne) and Southern Latgale division (Daugavpils).
