SIA “INVESTING” joined the Latgale Special Economic Zone (Latgale SEZ) in 2023. Currently, the company has implemented its first investment project “Initial Investments in Real Estate”, adapting existing real estate to the requirements of tenants and increasing the capacity of its services.
The goal of real estate developer SIA “Investing” is to attract companies that value and are looking for high-quality, energy-efficient buildings that are adapted to production needs and comfortable working conditions.
As a result of the investment project, the company has adapted four real estate properties in Daugavpils (Saules Street 15, Viestura Street 2, Ģimnāzijas Street 10 and 10A-1A) and one property in Augšdaugava municipality (Komunālā Street 1) to the needs of tenants, ensuring investments in fixed assets (such as the installation of a freight elevator and heating for production needs, fire safety, installation of PVC windows and doors, installation of energy-efficient lighting and ventilation) and compliance of the leased properties with the demand of the market segment.
On December 16, 2024, representatives of the Latgale SEZ Administration inspected the real estate properties improved within the framework of the SIA “INVESTING” project.
The Chairman of the Latgale SEZ Supervisory Commission J. Lāčplēsis acknowledged that the company SIA “INVESTING” is a very good example of how to develop and attract financial resources, thanks to tax breaks applied in the territory of the Latgale special economic zone, because by investing in the adaptation of real estate and increasing the energy efficiency of buildings, the company helps competitive tenants who work in promising market areas to enter the city.
SIA “INVESTING” Board Member Artūrs Čipats welcomes the company’s new experience gained while operating as a Latgale SEZ company, also planning to continue to develop the company’s capacity and invest additional funds to create a high-quality rental offer in the city.
